The next one says, “The Wall Street Workshop is a bridge between where you are and where you want to be.” It definitely is. I can’t even begin to count all the letters and the testimonials that come in saying that people are now able to do so much more with their lives than what they were doing before. It is a bridge, and you look at this big chasm between where people are and where people want to be and you say, “How are you going to get there?” We have a bridge now. Here’s where you are, here’s where you want to be. We’ve got a pathway, a bridge if you will, that will help you get there.
The next one says, “You will overcome the fear factor.” We’ve already dealt with that one.
You can make money or you can make excuses, but you can’t make both.
The basic way to overcome fear is knowledge. It’s the proper application of knowledge, which is wisdom. Think, how is fear serving you? If a fearful thing is not serving you very well, you better learn how to get around it, do away with it, or whatever.
The next one says, “You will learn how to find the news pertaining to stocks and where to find it.” Yes, we do that all through the course. The next one says, “It’s fun.” It is. A lot of people say, “These are the best two days, the best three days, I’ve ever spent in my whole life,” and we say, “Golly, you got married, you went on a honeymoon.” They say, “No, no, no, this is better.” Well, it is better. It’s a really wild experience for some people to come and learn how to make money.
Another comment by one of our in-house sales people says, “The education allows you to make as much money as you want on your own. Lack of education leaves you where you are.” I couldn’t say it better. Opportunity keeps knocking, opportunity doesn’t knock once, like the old adage says. It keeps knocking. We want to show people how to take advantage of those things. “Your future transactions can be done anywhere, from a sunny beach, high in the mountains, or sitting on the couch at home.” That’s true. The next one says, “You will learn the actual conversations between the instructors and the brokers.” You are going to hear them all the time. You can get up and call your own broker, you can see it happening right there in class.
The next one says, “An education lasts a lifetime.” That is so true. Derek Bock, who, when he said this was the Dean of the Harvard Law School said, “If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.” That is so true. If you get this kind of education, it will truly last for a lifetime.
The next one says, “The profits you make from what you learn will remain with you.” Not only will the profits remain, they’ll be in other investments, but we don’t get anything out of what you do. We’ll charge a fee for teaching these seminars, and we’ll teach the strategies, but people get to keep everything that they make. After us, everybody else that has anything to do with them will get something out of what they do. A commission here, a percentage there, not us. We’re the only people in their lives that get nothing out of what they do.
